Trailer: Fahrenheit 11/9

The trailer's a HuffPo exclusive and thats annoying because now I have to embed the tweet with the trailer. Sorry. At least it's not as annoying as watching those election results roll in. Annoying is too soft of a word, but you understand what I'm getting at I'm sure. I still can't sit down and write my usual nonsense because I'm still so taken aback by what we've done to ourselves. I should probably stop there before I roll into a political rant with little meaning and even less structure.

Trailer: The Kindergarten Teacher

What would you have been able to accomplish if someone had recognized your capabilities and made it their obsession to ensure that your talents were grown, perfected, and recognized? Maggie Gyllenhaal and Gael García Bernal together in one place, plus a story that took hold within the first few seconds of the trailer. Can't wait. Look for 'The Kindergarten Teacher' on Netflix, October 12. Might as well add it to your Netflix watchlist now, I did. 

Trailer: Slaughterhouse Rulez

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are my two favorite British people. That's pretty much all the trailer had to say to get me hooked. Watch the whole thing if you need more than that. There's some violence, gore and a release date in the fall. Halloween is starting early, kids. Look for Slaughterhouse Rules in theaters on September 7.

Trailer: Bad Reputation

If the opportunity to learn more about real, actual badassery presents itself, you take it. Look for 'Bad Reputation' in theaters on September 28.

Trailer: A Simple Favor

I'm not a big fan of Blake Lively, but this trailer piqued my interest. Seeing her play a role that isn't some good-girl goddess, excites me. Plus, Anna Kendrick is in this and she's easy to love. Why not, right? Look for 'A Simple Favor' in theaters soon on September 14. 

Trailer: On the Basis of Sex

I realize I'm a little late on this movie. I've been slipping lately, sorry! Anyway, if you don't feel motivated to change the world after watching this trailer, you might be a little broken inside. I'm all about movies that delve into the stories behind the powerful women of the world, so naturally I'm all over this one. It doesn't hurt that the cast is out-of-control good. Look for 'On the Basis of Sex' in theaters November 25.
