Jonah Hill's directorial debut just shot me back to my adolescence. This one looks like it'll be interesting. Look for Mid90s in theaters on October 19.
Trailer: Replicas
I'm the worst at saying goodbye and even I wouldn't do this. Too much could go wrong with human cloning for me to feel comfortable Xeroxing someone. However, a worst-case-scenario movie starring Keanu Reeves, that is right up my alley. Look for Replicas in theaters on August 24.
Trailer: Mary Queen of Scots
The idea of both Margot Robbie and Saoirse Ronan in the same movie is enough for me. The fact that the director is a woman makes it even better. Ronan is incredibly talented, made for period dramas. I'm excited to see what Robbie brings to the table, if she can hang on Ronan's level. She's got one hell of a story to work with, so outlook good. 'Mary Queen of Scots' is set to hit theaters on December 7.
Trailer: Mara
Have you ever had sleep paralysis? It's terrifying. Is this movie good? I don't know. What I can tell you is that it's got Asian Horror vibes all over it. Look for 'Mara' in theaters on September 7.
Trailer: The Hate U Give
You had me at "Pac is the truth." This one feels too timely to pass up. Look for 'The Hate U Give' in theaters on October 19.
Trailer: BlacKkKlansman
I don't know what I was expecting from a Spike Lee movie called BlacKkKlansman, but hilarious probably wasn't at the top of that list, and yet, here we are. The hard "H" gag alone is reason enough to see this movie. Look for 'BlacKkKlansman' in theaters on August 10.
