There isn't a whole lot that jumped out at me while watching this trailer. We've all seen bank heist movies a million times. We've also seen corrupt big wig movies a lot, especially recently (ex: The Big Short), so my mind started to wander even after I caught a glimpse of Bruce Willis in this trailer. Sadly, I became almost completely lost in thought while watching, that is until I saw Christopher Meloni. I've watched Meloni forever on Law & Order and I've always wondered how he'd fare in a full-length feature. Also, I kind of love Dave Bautista and have since I first saw him as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy. After seeing him pop up in the trailer, I decided maybe this one is worth checking out after all. Marauders hits theater on July 1st.
Trailer: Beauty and the Beast
Beauty and the Beast is likely my favorite of the Disney animated movies. Because of this, I didn't think I would get overly excited about this newest adaptation of that beloved film. Boy was I wrong. My giddiness bubbled up to the surface almost immediately. I cannot wait to see this one.
Trailer: Sky
This is Norman Reedus's new movie. I'm not sure how I feel about this one, guys. I love me some Reedus and Diane Kruger is great too, but I'm still unsure.
Trailer: Inferno
I didn't see the other movies based on the Dan Brown's books. I'd read some of the books and saw a part of the first film. I can't recall why exactly, but I never managed to finish watching. Maybe this one will be different. Puzzles and codes are fun.
Trailer: Microbe and Gasoline
I didn't know if I was up for another boy's coming of age story, but something about this one stuck. Maybe it's because as an outsider myself, I'm a sucker for an underdog. Plus, I haven't seen Audrey Tautou in a while and it's nice to have her back. Microbe and Gasoline is scheduled for a limited US release (NY & LA) on July 1st.
Trailer: Welcome to Happiness
I'll admit, I'm not exactly sure what the hell is going on in this trailer, but I'm intrigued. Also, that looks like an excellent cast to me. I'm down for the quirk. Welcome to Happiness will hits theaters and Video On Demand May 20th.
