I have begged (in my head) the Hollywood gods for a standalone female superhero movie worthy of the badassery that is all women since I was a kid. It looks like Warner Brothers has finally heeded the call. This trailer is perfection. Look for Wonder Woman in theaters next summer.

Trailer: Shortwave
Dreamy and bloody, just like real life. I'm always down for a new inde horror movie so color me intrigued. Shortwave was officially released in the US on June 4th of this year. I don't see it available on VoD yet, so it might be a while before your'e able to stream it.
Trailer: White Girl
Remember when Kids came out back in 1995? Well, this is the new Kids. I'm curious to see what the kids are up to now that I'm not one of them anymore. Look for White Girl in theaters this fall.
Trailer: Light Years
As far as what this one's about, your guess is as good as mine. Either way, it looks intriguing as hell. All I know is that it's an independent British drama and it was released int he UK on September 5 of last year. You can stream Light Years (2015) online now.
