Trailer: The Light Between Oceans

This trailer is way more my speed and not just because it stars Michael Fassbender. The Light Between Oceans is the story of a couple deeply in love, but unable to have children. One day, a crying baby, alone in a boat, drifts to the shore of the lighthouse the couple inhabit and a miracle is born. It's all puppies and rainbows until this new family realizes that the baby's mother is still out there and she wants her child back. I love when a movie rips your heart out and dances on it. I was overcome with emotion from the start and I will most definitely be watching this when it's released on September 2nd.

Trailer: Marauders

There isn't a whole lot that jumped out at me while watching this trailer. We've all seen bank heist movies a million times. We've also seen corrupt big wig movies a lot, especially recently (ex: The Big Short), so my mind started to wander even after I caught a glimpse of Bruce Willis in this trailer. Sadly, I became almost completely lost in thought while watching, that is until I saw Christopher Meloni. I've watched Meloni forever on Law & Order and I've always wondered how he'd fare in a full-length feature. Also, I kind of love Dave Bautista and have since I first saw him as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy. After seeing him pop up in the trailer, I decided maybe this one is worth checking out after all. Marauders hits theater on July 1st.
