Joaquin Phoenix never lets me down. Also, I've never seen Jonah Hill in something like this, so color me intrigued. I wonder though, does Hollywood ever cast a disabled actor to play a disabled character? Doesn't seem like it does it? Can't say I'm surprised. Don't Worry, He won't Get Far On Foot is set for release in May of this year.
Trailer: Annihilation
This reminded me of Arrival. Natalie Portman and Jennifer Jason Leigh look focused and ready for a fight and I'm in. Plus, Tessa Thomson is in this and I loved her in Thor: Ragnarok. Can't wait to see what she'll do with this part. Look for Annihilation in theaters February 23.
Trailer: The Clapper
I've watched this trailer a few times now. I'm still not 100% sure what's happening in this movie but I like Ed Helms enough to give it a go. The Clapper is currently playing in select theaters.
Trailer: Half Magic
I didn't know Heather Graham was a director. You probably didn't either since this is her first go at it, don't lie. In addition to this exciting news, the movie looks pretty funny. Half Magic is set for release later this month on February 23.
Trailer: Chappaquiddick
You know, I was under the impression that someone, somewhere had made a movie about this incident. I guess I was wrong. Maybe I'm thinking of a TV series or something, but I looked it up and didn't find anything. I might not have tried too hard though, so take this with a grain of salt. Either way, this movie is about that infamous accident, the one where Ted Kennedy drove his car off the road, into the water and left a woman to die when he fled the scene. He ran and didn't report it for 10 hours. Chappaquiddick aims to answer some of the questions that came along with this tragedy. Look for it in theaters on April 6.
Trailer: You Were Never Really Here
There's nothing quite like a slightly unhinged Joaquin Phoenix. Apparently that's all it will take to get me to see a movie. You Were Never Really Here is set for release on April 6, 2018.
